Follow I-95 south until it reaches the Capital Beltway and splits into two directions. First follow the signs for I-495 West towards Silver Spring (Exit 27), but stay out of the rightmost lane. Before joining the Beltway proper, take a left exit towards College Park/Route 1. This exit is rather winding, but after following it around a number of turns you reach Route 1 South (Exit 25B). Continue south on Route 1 for around 2 miles.When Route 1 intersects with Paint Branch Parkway/Campus Drive, turn right into the main entrance to the campus.
From South & West (via I-495 Capital Beltway)
Exit Capital Beltway (I-495/I-95) at Exit 25B onto Route 1 South, towards College Park. Continue south on Route 1 for around 2 miles. When Route 1 intersects with Paint Branch Parkway/ Campus Drive, turn right into the main entrance to the campus.
From Downtown Washington DC via Metro
Take the Green Line towards Greenbelt. College Park Metro Station is the second-to-last stop on the Green Line. From the turnstiles, exit to the left. A shuttle bus to campus comes frequently at the bus stop across the parking lot. It will drop you off at the Stamp Student Union (Lot HH). Please let a researcher know if you are coming by metro so we can meet you at the final bus stop.

Parking for Hearing and Speech Sciences: Language Development Lab
• From Route 1 (Baltimore Ave): Turn on Campus Drive into the University
of Maryland.
• Drive up Campus Drive and continue past the traffic circle staying on Campus
Drive.
• When Campus Drive bears to the right, stay straight on Preinkert Drive.
• Parking is available in Lot A, the third driveway on the left.
Parking for Linguistics: Project on Children's Language Learning
• From Route 1 (Baltimore Ave): Turn on Campus Drive into the University
of Maryland.
• Drive up Campus Drive to the big "M" circle and take the third exit, onto
Regents Drive.
• After passing the end of the University Mall, turn right onto Chapel Drive.
• Marie Mount Hall is the first building on the right on Chapel Drive. Parking
is available in first driveway on the right.
• The CNL parking space will be at the end on your left. It is clearly marked
by a sign and one of our researchers will be waiting for you there with a
parking permit. If you have questions, please call (301) 405-0518.
• We will walk with you to the lab in Taliaferro Hall.
Parking for Psychology labs: MD Infant Studies Lab and the Neurocognitive Development Lab
• From Route 1 (Baltimore Ave): Turn on Campus Drive into the University
of Maryland.
• Drive up Campus Drive and bear right by traffic circle onto Regents
Drive.
• Turn left onto Field House Drive.
• Turn right into the Field House Drive entrance of Regents Drive garage.
