Ariane E. Rhone
University of Maryland Linguistics

  About Me
I recently graduated from the University of Maryland (PhD in Linguistics) and am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Neurosurgery and Department of Psychology at the University of Iowa.

  Research Interests
I'm primarily interested in speech, and I use behavioral and electrophysiological methods to explore the timecourse of auditory and audio-visual speech perception. More specifically, I'm interested in studying when/where/why/how the human brain integrates the sensory information provided by a talker and turns it into a meaningful linguistic representation for the hearer (or seer).
