About Me

I'm a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Linguistics Department at the University of Maryland. My advisor is Colin Phillips, but I also work with Jeff Lidz, Valentine Hacquard, and Andrea Zukowski on various projects. I spend a lot of time being interdisciplinary as a part of our IGERT program on language science.

I got my B.A. in cognitive science from Yale in 2006. After that, I spent two years at the University of Washington Autism Center, working first as a therapy assistant for the Early STAART Intervention study, then as a research assistant for Mike Murias' Cortical Connectivity study in the EEG lab.

When I'm not being a psycholinguist, I cook, practice yoga, run, and make ceramics.
